We got our 1st little cottage in July 2012 and I think it goes without saying after 6 years of being a student cash was pretty tight so we were forced to do it up on a major budget! With the exception of a slate floor which was kindly bought and laid for us by my parents everything else came from bargain hunting and D.I.Y!
